Paul McCartney is a British singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. He rose to international fame as a member of the band The Beatles, along with George Harrison, John Lennon, and Ringo Starr. He was married to American musician, photographer, and animal rights activist Linda McCartney, until her death. Among their children is fashion designer Stella McCartney.
He married Linda McCartney on March 12, 1969, then wed Heather Mills on June 11, 2002, and finally exchanged wedding bands with Nancy Shevell on October 9, 2011. He has four daughters named Heather, Stella, Mary and Beatrice and a son named James.
